Sausage and Pepper Penne

Ingredients

3/4 oz. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Sausage 1 1/2 Links
10 oz. Penne, Cooked
Red & Green peppers, (Julienne)
7 oz. Arrabbiatta Sauce
2 Hot Cherry Peppers
1 Parsley Sprig

A lot of people order this particular dish, so we figure a lot of people really like it.
So here’s how to make it at home.
INGREDIENTS
3/4 oz. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Sausage 1 1/2 Links
10 oz. Penne, Cooked
Red & Green peppers, (Julienne)
7 oz. Arrabbiatta Sauce
2 Hot Cherry Peppers
1 Parsley Sprig

STEP 1 - ITALIAN SAUSAGE

In a large shallow pan, sauté six Italian sausages ( as spicy as you like) in a couple of tablespoons of olive oil until done. Drain and slice. Now cook your penne noodles according to the instructions on the package – we use De Cecco, because
it’s the Italians’ favourite.

STEP 2-PENNE PASTA

While the pasta is cooking, clean your pan and sauté a red and a green pepper, both sliced thinly, in a tablespoon of olive oil until tender, then add the sausage slices and about a 3 ½ cups (28 oz) of Arrabbiatta sauce (we have our own special version, but you can use store-bought). Bring to a boil. Drain your pasta and add to the pan and toss. Transfer to 4 bowls and place two hot cherry peppers on top of each. Garnish with a sprig of parsley and you’re good to go. Serves four.
Okay, so now you can make it at home. But you’ll probably have more fun if you
come enjoy it here. And there’s no dishes to wash.
