Rosé Sauce Mix

A delicious taste of creamy tomato rosé sauce with a hint of garlic. Makes 1 1/3 cup (320 mL) or 5 portions of 60 mL.

STOVE TOP

Empty contents of pouch into a saucepan. Whisk in 1 ¼ cups (300 mL) of milk and 1 tbsp (15 mL) of margarine or butter. Bring to a boil at medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and let simmer 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

MICROWAVE

Empty contents of pouch into a 4-cup (1 L) microwave-safe bowl. Whisk in 1 ¼ cups (300 mL) of milk and 1 tbsp (15 mL) of margarine or butter. Do not cover. Microwave on HIGH until mixture comes to a boil, whisking once every minute. Cook 1 minute longer. Mix well before serving.
